AAPI Public Policy Summit & Housing Policy Dialogue
2026
April

AlphaX proudly supported the recent AAPI Public Policy Summit, convened by APALi in partnership with the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, bringing together community leaders, advocates, and policymakers to address critical issues impacting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.
The summit highlighted APALi’s long-standing commitment to cultivating leadership within AANHPI communities — a mission grounded in creating opportunities for individuals to step forward, advocate for their communities, and actively shape public policy and civic life.
According to AlphaX, that mission is what made the event especially meaningful.
“Leadership does not happen by accident,” the company shared. “It grows when people are given the space to speak for their communities and help shape public life.”
Conversations Centered on Real Community Challenges
The summit focused on three major policy areas that directly affect the lives of residents across Santa Clara County:
🏥 Health & Mental Health — led by Supervisor Margaret Abe-Koga
⚖️ Immigrant & Worker’s Rights — led by Supervisor Betty Duong
🏠 Housing & the Unhoused — led by Board President Otto Lee
AlphaX was especially honored to participate in the Housing & the Unhoused discussion led by Board President Otto Lee, where conversations centered around housing affordability, accessibility, and the realities of delivering housing solutions at the local level.
The company emphasized that housing cannot be viewed as a standalone issue, but rather as one deeply connected to economic mobility, regional growth, and human dignity.
Strengthening Community Through Partnership
At the summit, AlphaX reaffirmed its belief that meaningful community leadership is built over time through collaboration, dialogue, and sustained civic engagement.
The company expressed gratitude for the opportunity to support spaces that encourage thoughtful policy discussions and long-term solutions for communities across California.
“We are grateful to support spaces like this and the long-term work of turning dialogue and policy into real housing outcomes,” AlphaX stated.
Representing AlphaX at the summit were Stephanie Yi, Alice Liu, Jia Li, Tom Huong Tran (also known as Tomas The Builder), and Dr. Angelo Farooq.
As conversations around housing, equity, and community development continue to evolve, AlphaX says it remains committed to participating in initiatives that help bridge policy and real-world impact.
