AL Homes Represents California in Federal Housing Policy Talks in Washington, D.C.
Washington, D.C. – From March 31 to April 1, 2025, AL Homes, a leading residential developer and an affiliate of AlphaX RE Capital, joined a distinguished delegation of Building Industry Association (BIA) leaders for a series of high-level policy meetings with key federal agencies and lawmakers.
During the strategic two-day visit, the BIA delegation engaged in discussions with officials from The White House, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and members of Congress. The meetings addressed critical topics such as wildfire disaster recovery, housing-related regulatory frameworks, and the broader economic outlook for the building industry.
AL Homes’ participation in this effort underscores its growing leadership role within the industry. Recently appointed to the BIA Los Angeles Board of Directors, the company was also chosen to participate in the #RebuildLA coalition, a public-private initiative dedicated to developing long-term recovery strategies following California’s catastrophic wildfires.
Dr. Angelo Farooq, Partner at AlphaX RE Capital and AL Homes, represented the firm during the federal meetings. His presence highlighted the company’s deep commitment to advocating for resilient housing solutions and equitable development across the state.
"AL Homes is honored to represent our region at the national level," said Dr. Farooq. "We remain committed to advancing policies that support recovery, innovation, and opportunity in the communities we serve."
As part of the AlphaX family, AL Homes continues to pioneer sustainable housing models and advocate for industry-forward policies that reflect the challenges and opportunities of today’s evolving residential landscape.
